Curbside Service Only – Starting Saturday, January 2nd

The COVID case numbers in our area have escalated. The Town of Dover’s government offices have closed to the public and other libraries nearby have gone back to offering just curbside services. We feel we must follow their lead to keep our staff and patrons safe.

Starting Saturday, January 2nd, we will be strictly curbside and our front doors will be closed.
Curbside Service hours will be :
Mon-Fri 10:30am – 7:45pm
Saturday 10:30am – 3:45pm

During the daylight hours, you can call the library from your vehicle (parked in a curbside space) and staff will come outside to help you.
You can also knock on our front doors. (We’ve got a doorbell on the way) At night we would prefer to meet you at our front doors.
If there is something you absolutely must do in the library, patrons will be let in one at a time.

Essential computer use will be limited to 15 minutes only, and there will be no time extensions. This must be set up in advance.

Our New Circ Desk!

Here’s a sneak peek at the new front desk you’ll be able to see when we open for browsing this Monday, September 28th at 10am!!

Lloyd, of Oblong Woodworks, put the finishing touches on this morning. Today we’re getting ourselves situated and familiar with our new work area, but by Monday we’ll be ready to open our doors and welcome back our patrons with our smiling eyes!

*Please continue to put all returned items into our book drop. We’ve got a special bin in there that goes right into quarantine.
Our staff is not allowed to take returns directly from patrons.
~ Thank you!
