Library ELF is a web-based tool for library users to keep track of their library items.
Designed with the busy or avid library user in mind, ELF is ideal for families with multiple library cards or for individuals who would benefit from email or text notifications and reminders.
It can help keep track of:
- Due dates
- Overdue materials
- Requested items ready for pickup
- Your reading history
Library Elf is simple because you can choose:
- Notifications via text or email
- Customizable dates of notification
- Consolidated notifications
- To manage more than one library account at once
ELF is provided through funds from the Mid-Hudson Library System for 1 year. While the basic ELF reminder service is free, through our collaboration with Mid-Hudson Library System we are able to offer the full premium service to our patrons.
To sign up for Library ELF you need your library card barcode and PIN. Go to the Dover Plains Library ELF page by clicking the Library ELF icon on the right, or by scrolling to the bottom right of our website and clicking that icon.
