Stay Home, Stay Safe : Let Reading Take You Places!

New York’s ‘On Pause’ has been extended until April 29th, which means the library will be closed too. We don’t want our patrons to stop reading, so we’ve made a reading log for you to fill out while you’re staying safe at home. The reading log starts today, April 7th and will run until May 30th (We hope we’re open way before then!) Please write down the total number of minutes you read (or are read to) each day. E.g. 30 mins, 120 mins, etc…
When the library is open again, bring your log to the library’s front desk, we’ll tally them up and trade them in for some book bucks for you to redeem for prizes at a later date!

For every 30 minutes you read, you’ll earn a book buck!

**IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BELOW**

The library is closed and is required to remain closed for as long the Dover Schools are closed.

This difficult decision was taken out of the hands of our town government by a decree from our state and county officials.

In the meantime the book drop will be available if people need to return items. We will be checking the book drop 6 days a week.

No fines will be accrued during the time that we are closed.

We will post updates online as we get them.

Stay safe everyone!
