The Library has 5 public computer stations, a color printer and a black & white printer. Anyone visiting the Library may use a public computer. The Library also has public wifi which you can access from your own laptop or mobile device. There are signs posted in the Library with the network name & password. Or, you can ask Library staff for assistance.
If you need tech help, Library staff can provide it for most things. If your tech issue may be more complex or may take more than 15 minutes of staff time, you may be asked to make an appointment. Anyone in need of tech help can make an appointment. Email director@doverplainslibrary.org to request an appointment. Please include information on what you need help doing as well as what device or program you’re using. For example: “I need help uploading photos to my email. I use Gmail on my Samsung tablet.” or “I want to read e-books on my Kindle. I’m using Libby app and have a Kindle Paperwhite.”

Printing & Copying : $.25 per page for color & $.10 per page for black & white
When you’re at the Library, you can print directly from your mobile phone, laptop, or tablet, as well as from any of the Library’s public computers.
If you prefer, you can send an email with the documents you need printed attached. Please call before you come to the library to check that the pages are ready.

Faxing & Scanning : no charge
You can send faxes at no charge from the library. Currently the library cannot receive faxes.
Scanned documents can be sent to you via email. If you prefer, you may bring a thumb drive and Library staff can upload the scanned documents to it.
